A message from our Pastor
Well, 2020 is about to finally come to a close! This year just seems to have slipped right by. I believe that we can all say that we are ready for a new year to begin. 2020 has proven to be a year of trial, pain, hurt, depression and loss. Probably everyone of us are able to relate to at least one of those remarks if not ALL at some time or another throughout this year. So many have lost their loved ones, family, friends , neighbors,
co-workers etc. and it has caused grief to overtake so many of us. I myself, lost my mom on November 3rd during a time that we could not be with her while she was in the hospital. That was without a doubt the most trying time of my life, as well as our family, not being able to be with her and receiving that dreadful call.  Throughout this year, so many have dealt with the same type of situation, but by the grace and hand of God we have made it through! David said in Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” As children of God, we must trust him with and for everything, because we cannot make it within ourselves it takes Jesus Christ to get us through.
Let us all be in prayer as we leave 2020 behind us and start 2021 that God would draw us closer to him and our dedication to him would strengthen and grow throughout this upcoming year. Let's believe together that everything that satan has used to come against us would begin to crumble and we would be the army of the Lord that he ahs called us to be. We are believing together at CCOP that we will  see a great turn around as well as a great move of God in this upcoming new year. I urge you that if you have a church home already that you purpose to get in full force and work harder than ever before for the kingdom of God with what time we have left before the Lord's return. If you do not have a church home, but during all of this year's turmoil have given it much thought, I again urge you to find one where you can fit in and feel at home with God's people. Time is running out and we must not sit any longer while giving God excuses that we know are just that, excuses. May God richly bless you throughout this Christmas season, strengthen you and lift you up above the shadows of this world. God bless and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! He IS the ONLY reason for the season!

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God Bless,
We Love You
